The Summer Palace is China’s largest and best preserved royal garden and one of the four most famous gardens in China. Located in Beijing’s Haidian District, covering about 290 hectares. Mainly by the Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake in two parts, of which three-fourths of the water (about 220 hectares). Formerly known as Qing Yi Park, the Summer Palace was originally built in the 15th year of Emperor Qianlong (AD 1750) as the imperial palace and garden of the Qing Dynasty. It used the Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill as the bases and took the scenery of West Lake in Hangzhou as an example. Some of the design techniques and mood built a large natural landscape park, too
