In recent years, all localities are actively exploring mechanisms and means of compensating for the withdrawal of idle housing sites in rural areas, effectively promoting the concentration of rural land to the scale and improving the efficiency of land use. Through field investigation in Yancheng City, the author understands the practice of compensating for the withdrawal of house sites in rural land remediation. On the basis of summing up the experience and existing problems in Yancheng City, I put forward some superficial views.
