When I read the “Dictionary of Chinese Idioms” (Commercial Press, 1991 edition), I found “fellow travelers” entries, very interested; but after reading the content, but also had a suspicion. The entry cited in the Mengjiao “injury time” poem “a wealth of potential that is acquainted with no money with the potential of people” as a card. The “sameness” of “fellow travelers” in the verse is an independent word, which means “as if” “likeness”, as opposed to “immediateness” in the previous sentence. “Passerby” refers to unrelated people. And “same” in “fellow travelers” who are fellow travelers or who temporarily follow the revolution is a morpheme and has “together” and “together.”
