景艺堂藏瓷馆是由胡尚德先生创立以收藏景德镇近代艺术瓷器为目标的陶瓷艺术馆。中国制瓷历史久远,各朝各代精品无数,大都藏在世界各大博物馆,私人要有系统收集谈何容易。20世纪景德镇瓷器作为中国陶瓷历史的一个重要部分,过去并未受到世人的重视。多年来中外学者研究介绍景德镇宋、元、明、清各代瓷器的著作数不胜数、精细全面,但20世纪百年来的瓷器则很少提及,有关著作寥寥可数,难免成为研究中国陶瓷史和欣赏景德镇陶瓷的断层。出于对陶瓷艺术的热爱和对景德镇优秀陶瓷匠师的敬重,胡尚德先生竭尽绵薄之力,以景德镇20世纪景德镇艺术瓷为专题收集已将近20年,收藏品达2000余件,多从世界各地及中国各大拍卖行、古董商购得,部分由著名收藏家转让。藏品中有数量稀少的宣统官窑瓷器,有难得见到的“洪宪瓷”民国时期陶瓷大师汪晓棠,潘匋宇等名家作品,其中闻名天下“珠山八友”作品达数百件。解放后陶瓷大师的作品亦在收藏之列,2001年6月从景艺堂藏瓷中精选出近千件作品出版了《景艺堂藏瓷》画册,是艺术界、陶瓷界、收藏界研究20世纪景德镇陶瓷艺术的十分珍贵的资料。
