听写的实用性在普通成人的日常生活中,“听”占总时间的45%,“说”占30%,“读”占16%,“写”只占9%。听的过程就是信息摄入的过程,因此听的能力在日常生活中具有重要的意义。对于任何一个英语学习者,听的能力也就意味着交际能力,听的能力也标志着英语学习的水平。笔者从事大学英语教学工作数十载,看到近几年学生的英语应用能力较过去有了大幅提高,但是我们也常常听到学生的抱怨,认为自己在英语学习上花的时间最多,收效却最小,尤其是听力和口语提高最慢。学生的迷茫是能够理解的——他们往往面对大流量的英文信息不知所措,
Practicality of dictation In the daily life of ordinary adults, “listen ” accounts for 45% of the total time, “say ” 30%, “read” make up 16%,“write” only accounts for 9 %. The process of listening is the process of information intake, so the ability to listen has an important meaning in daily life. For any English learner, the ability to listen also means communicative competence, and the ability to listen also marks the level of English learning. The author has been engaged in college English teaching for decades. He has seen a significant increase in the English application ability of students in the past few years. However, we often hear the students complaining that they have spent the most time learning English and have achieved results. Minimal, especially the slowest hearing and spoken language increase. The confusion of students is understandable - they are often overwhelmed with large amounts of English information.
