大庆市大同区是黑龙江省甜菜重要产区之一.从1989年开始开展了大面积高产攻关,4年合计全区甜菜播种面积为420610亩,平均亩产1713kg.单产最高的1990年,11万亩甜莱平均亩产达2040kg.4年甜菜高产攻关采取的主要技术措施是:1.深松整地.为创造甜菜生长发育的良好土壤环境条件,1989年全区购置地产深松犁1800台,实行深松整地.以春整地为主,先对原垄沟深松15～20cm,施肥后,再用大犁破茬掏墒,做成新垄。坚持深松、施肥、破茬掏墒、镇压连续作业.2.增施化肥.在施农肥1t/亩基础上,提高了化肥的施用量,平均每亩施用二铵17kg,尿素7kg,过石4kg,折合N6.28kg,P_2O_58.50kg.
