人类活动导致天然放辐射水平升高已成为导致公众照射和职业照射增加的主要原因,这种人类活动统称为NORM工业。钢铁冶炼是重要的NORM工业之一,而且钢铁也是核电链和煤电链中使用的主要原料之一,因此研究钢铁冶炼的辐射影响具有重要的意义。本研究选择了年产粗钢8.50 Mt的江西某钢铁企业作为典型钢铁厂的代表,进行现场采样和实验室分析,获得了钢铁冶炼的焦化、烧结、炼铁、炼钢等主要生产环节的烟囱实际放射性排放量。
