系統选种是利用原来品种中在自然界出現的新类型,通过选择鑑定、培育,获得新品种的一种方法。棉花是一种常异交作物,在外界环境条件的影响下,常常发生多种多样的变异,因而就为选择利用新的变异类型創造了良好的条件。实践证明,采用系統选种方法,在棉花新品种选育方面获得了大量的成果。据統計,目前全国20个主要棉花推广品种中,采用系統选种方法育成的有9个,占总数的45%。通过几年来的选种实践,我們认为,正确地掌握运用系統选种方法和棉花
System selection is the use of the original species in nature appear in the new type, through the selection of identification, cultivation, access to a new variety of methods. Cotton is a kind of often outcrossing crop. Under the influence of external environmental conditions, a variety of variations often occur, thus creating favorable conditions for choosing to utilize new types of variation. Practice has proved that the use of systematic selection methods, breeding new varieties of cotton obtained a lot of results.
