The country currently has 39 factories that manufacture ordinary lamp caps, one is a county-owned collective enterprise, and the remaining 38 are all state-owned enterprises. In the most recent four-year national lamp quality competition, it was this collective enterprise that won the championship four times. It is the Shanghai Guangming Lampshade Factory. This collective enterprise is a designated production unit of the Ministry of Light Industry, and the output of the lamp cap accounts for about one-fifth of the total output of the country.
