语言是一种交际工具。英语教学的目的就是为了培养学生运用交际工具的能力。而这种能力只有在交际活动中才能逐步培养起来的。海姆斯的交际教学法认为:获得一种新语言是学生的内在变化。教师作为外力,只能起促进作用,绝不能代替学生的内因变化。教师应该打破以往的“填鸭式”的教学法,让学生通过交际去学。交际法教学的座右铭就是:让学游泳的人到水里去。或者说让学生学会钓鱼,而不是给学生几条鱼。实施交际法教学应该从以下四个方面着手。
Language is a communication tool. The purpose of English teaching is to cultivate students’ ability to use communication tools. And this ability can only be gradually cultivated in the communication activities. Heims’s communicative approach believes that acquiring a new language is an internal change for the student. As an external force, teachers can only play a facilitating role and must not replace the internal changes of students. Teachers should break the old “cramming” approach and allow students to learn through communication. The motto of communicative teaching is: Let the people who learn to swim go into the water. Or let students learn to fish instead of giving them a few fish. The implementation of communicative law teaching should proceed from the following four aspects.
