The problem of cracks in silicate blocks has always been a concern. In particular, the shrinkage cracks of steamed fly ash aerated concrete are much larger, and 10 x 10 x 10 cm specimens are stored in the atmosphere for one year. Shrinkage occurs. The shrinkage cracks severely reduce the strength of the material, affecting its application in engineering. Under normal circumstances, the shrinkage cracks of porous products are more serious, and fly ash silicate products have more severe shrinkage cracks than other silicate products. In this paper, steamed fly ash aerated concrete is taken as an example.
