这次的作品《走西口》实在是一件吃力而不讨好的笨拙之作。我自我感到在目前的境况下已经到了无路可走的地步,长期徘徊在了无创意,贫乏重复的状态中。我真不知道架上雕塑在未来的发展中应该注重在哪些个关键点上? 《走西口》的选材是十分陈旧的,几乎被唱、被演滥了。旧时代情侣的相别除了艾怨似乎再无其他!也许选它或命名它为“走西口”本身即是一个极守旧的思维所使然!这真是十分可笑的举动。 其次在表现手法上,过分地强调了这对北方情人的粗、笨乃至“蠢”的一面,使人丝毫也感觉不到某种空灵、聪明、轻松的东西。这说明作者骨子里的造做、骄饰的东西在作祟!
