In this paper, the selective adsorption of LDL on chitosan modified with PEG and Asp. was studied. The adsorption rate of LDL and HDL on the double modified chitosan was 57% and 12% respectively. The results shown that the double modified chitosan can be used a adsorbent for selective binding to LDL. This work may help to develop functional columns for hemoperfusion.
