法律教育在美国由来已久,20世纪70年代法律教育就成为美国中小学社会课程的重要组成部分,1978年美国出台了《法律教育法案》,敦促学校培养学生的法制精神。经过多年的实践,美国法律教育的目标、内容和方法逐渐确立,其基本目标是培养未来公民的法律信仰与行动;其基本内容则是将法律精神与日常法律问题相结合;其基本教育方式则是创设情境与营造氛围相统一。这对我国的法制教育、道德教育等领域都将有所启示。
Legal education has a long history in the United States. In the 1970s, legal education became an important part of the social curriculum for primary and secondary schools in the United States. In 1978, the United States introduced the Law Education Act, urging schools to cultivate the students’ legal spirit. After many years of practice, the aims, contents and methods of legal education in the United States have gradually been established. The basic goal of the law education in the United States is to cultivate the legal beliefs and actions of future citizens. The basic content of the law is to combine the legal spirit with the daily legal issues. The basic education methods Is to create a situation and create a unified atmosphere. This will enlighten us in the fields of legal education and moral education in our country.
