赫伯特.斯宾塞作为英国近代一名伟大的教育理论与改革家,其德育思想十分丰富。就德育目的而论,赫伯特.斯宾塞着眼于理想与现实两个维度,把个人获得最大幸福作为德育的根本目的,并且指出实现这一目的的四大要件,即公正、消极的善行,积极的善行,合理的自爱。这四大要件是逐层递进、不可分割的统一体。分析斯宾塞德育目标体系,对于我们在新的历史起点上进一步加强和改进未成年人思想道德建设和大学生思想政治教育具有十分重要的理论意义与现实价值。
As a great educational theory and reformer in modern England, Herbert Spencer has a very rich moral education. As far as the purpose of moral education is concerned, Herbert Spencer focuses on the two dimensions of ideal and reality, taking the individual’s maximum happiness as the fundamental purpose of moral education and points out the four major requirements for achieving this goal: fairness and negative good deeds , Active good deeds, reasonable self-love. These four major elements are progressive and indivisible unity.
