唐代的庞居士对禅有精深的理解,他是药山惟俨大师的弟子。一次他到药山那里求法,告别药山时,药山命门下十多个禅客相送。庞居士和众人边说边笑,走到门口,推开大门,但见得漫天的大雪纷纷扬扬,乾坤正在一片混莽之中。众人都很欢喜。庞居士指着空中的雪片,不由得发出感慨:“好雪片片,不落别处。”有一个全禅客问道:“那落在什么地方?”被庞居士打了一掌。
Pang Juns in the Tang Dynasty had a deep understanding of Zen, and he was a disciple of Yau-shan but his master.
