乱砍滥伐护岸林加速土壤侵蚀,大大危害鱼类的生存。加拿大安大略省西北部10个湖滨区,由于过量采伐林木长达4~10a,地面上的枯枝落叶层只有未采区的60%。随着湖滨区地表覆盖物的减少,土壤腐殖质的含量大为下降。通过模拟降雨试验,发现裸地侵蚀量为有枯枝落叶覆盖地的2倍。由于林木的滥伐导致土壤侵蚀加剧,有关人士认为,安大略省应该恢复1985年前的政策:禁止在湖滨区采伐树木,为鱼类生存创造环境,确保渔业发展。
Deforestation of deforested shore accelerates soil erosion, greatly endangering the survival of fish. In the 10 lakeside areas in northwestern Ontario, Canada, as the over-harvesting trees last 4-10 years, the litter layer on the ground is only 60% of the undeveloped area. With the decrease of surface cover in the lake area, the content of soil humus greatly decreases. By simulating rainfall test, it was found that the amount of erosion on the bare land was twice that of the litter covered land. Due to the deforestation caused by increased soil erosion, the people think that Ontario should restore the policy before 1985: prohibit the logging in the lakeside area, to create an environment for the survival of fish to ensure the development of fisheries.
