80年代以后,海外华文报刊出现了新的繁荣局面,停刊的复刊,继续存在的发展,再加上新创办的报刊,其场面热闹非凡,有研究者因此说海外华文报刊出现了第四次高潮。目前海外华文报刊中,最引人注目的是作为后起之秀的大陆新移民所创办的报刊。需指出的是,本文所称的“新移民”,一是指已在国外就业、定居的留学生,二是指以家庭团聚和经商等方式移居国外的中国人。其中一些人是持留学生签证,还是已获长久居留权、已入籍,界限很难划清,为便于讨论,在此将留学生也划入了新移民范畴。 Since the 1980s, there has been a new boom in the overseas Chinese-language newspapers and periodicals.
