The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is the world’s trade and financial center. Due to its high population density, its dependence on imported food products, and the harsh food safety issues, the Hong Kong Government has set up a series of laws and systems that effectively safeguard the safety of food for Hong Kong. These successful practices deserve our colleagues in the mainland to think and learn from. 1 Materials and Methods 1.1 The sources of information come from official information on food safety issued by the Hong Kong government food safety regulatory authorities in recent years. Participate in food safety training organized by Hong Kong Center for Food Safety, inspect and exchange information on food safety in Hong Kong and mainland China
