民族认同与国家认同问题关乎统一多民族国家的思想文化安全及社会和谐稳定,对其进行深入研究是拓宽思想政治教育研究领域、促进马克思主义民族政治理论发展、增强各民族爱国主义教育有效性、提升中华民族文化软实力以及推进社会主义和谐社会建设等的需要,这些方面的重大理论与现实课题皆与宏观思想政治教育学的基本旨趣和学术图谱相契合。宏观思想政治教育学理应将民族认同与国家认同问题作为重要的研究论域。
