由十月文艺出版社出版的《叶广芩文集》九卷本,全景式地展现了叶广芩的创作实绩。叶广芩的创作题材跨度大,内容丰富,古今、中外、城乡、人与自然等很多题材都被纳入其中。纵观其创作,始终基于弱者的立场,无论表现什么样的内容,总有一个关于是与非、善与恶的价值判断隐伏其中,体现出感怀弱者处境的伦理视角;当贴近对象时又会转换视角,去发现困境中的坚韧,卑微中的伟大,赋予弱者更多尊严和精神力量,体现出温情优雅的人文视角;这两种视角都基于更为宏阔的历史视域,反映在把握弱者的处境、思考被遮蔽和扭曲的历史时始终保持着理性、反省的力量。三种视角交错使用,在作品中形成了对现实感怀又反思、对历史疏离又贴近的复杂情绪,增强了叙事张力,共同构建出其作品的丰厚内涵,也标识出叶广芩在当代写作中的独特价值和意义。
