小学低年级语文教学的重点是识字,那么在低年级要不要进行基本功的综合训练,要不要培养阅读能力呢?回答是肯定的。《小学语文教学大纲》关于各年级的具体要求都包含拼音,识字、阅读、作文四项。显然,阅读能力的培养应该从一年级开始。如果低年级单打一地搞识字,忽视了阅读基本功的综合训练,没有着手培养学生“自能读书”的能力,就是没有完成低年级语文教学的任务。
