通过分析关中-天水经济区整体及核心区社会经济发展现状,运用碎化指数法、线性回归分析法对经济区的空间集聚与碎化进行测度与分析.结果表明,经济区的建立促进了经济的和谐稳定增长,经济区整体城市的发展呈现均匀化,没有形成有效的增长极;而核心区城市的发展也以碎化发展为主要趋势,与经济区整体相比表现得不显著,但在空间面积内核心区的碎化程度均高于经济区整体;核心区与经济区整体城市的不同发展程度证实了城市碎化发展受多种因素的综合影响,如政策、资源和地理位置等.为促进关中-天水经济区的和谐、高效发展,核心区要积极主动带动周
