Objective To explore the impact of conflict between husband and wife on children’s depression and anxiety, and to provide reference for related psychological intervention. Methods A total of 635 junior high school students were investigated by questionnaire of Parents Conflict Children’s Perceptions Questionnaire (CPIC), self-designed junior high school students cognitive emotion adjustment strategy questionnaire, Depression Center Scale of Depression (CES-D) and Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) . Results Conflict between husband and wife can effectively predict depression and anxiety (t = 7.883,5.505; P <0.001). After rational thinking and active refocusing on the equation, the predictive coefficient decreases but remains significant. The structural equation model further validates the cognitive mood Regulatory strategy in the conflict between husband and wife, depression, anxiety play some intermediary role. Conclusion Conflicts between husband and wife have a direct effect on their children’s emotions as well as the indirect effects caused by their cognitive and emotional adjustment strategies.
