From November 17 to November 18, 2011, the New Local Records Forum 2011 co-hosted by China Local Records Guidance Group Office and China Local History Editing Department, Guangxi Local Records Office and Guangxi Local Records Association was held in Nanning. The theme of this forum is local culture, reform and opening up. More than 50 people attended the conference, including Li Fuqiang (third from left), director general of the China Local Records Guidance Team and director of the office, Li Qiuhong (second from the right), director of the local chronicles office of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and local experts of local chronicles and research institutes in selected provinces and cities.
