The Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of National People’s Congress(NPC)held the inaugural meeting of the task force of drafting the Assets Appraisal Law in June,which marked the formal start of the draft work of the long-waited legislation for the appraisal profession.The profes-sion thanks the massive support from the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of NPC.The meeting was participated by delegates from relevant ministries,Ministry of Finance,Ministry of Land and Resources,Ministry of Construction,Ministry of Commerce,and State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission(SASAC).They highly valued the inauguration of the draft work and agreed that they would make every effort to facilitate the drafting process.
