目前,各种高强度金属和合金在机械产品上的应用日益广泛,与此同此,用于上述材料的加工费用、刀具损耗和能耗也随之增加。近年来,国外开始使用等离子体-机械综合的金属加工新技术解决高强度材料的难加工问题。原先,是用氩气作为等离子体,但氩气的缺点是不能保证在刀具移动的情况下使深部切削区域获得高热,必须减小进给量,因而生产效率受到影响。

In recent years, foreign countries began to use plasma - mechanical processing of new integrated metal processing technology to solve the difficult problem of high-strength materials. Originally, argon gas was used as the plasma, but the disadvantage of argon was that it was impossible to ensure that the deep cutting area was given high heat when the tool was moved and the feed rate had to be reduced so that the production efficiency was affected.
