白细胞介素是公认的固有免疫及适应免疫相关疾病最重要的调节因子之一。自从2000年白细胞介素22(IL-22)被发现以来,已证实在众多组织的内皮细胞中发挥重要作用。IL-22可以由多种免疫细胞分泌并主要作用于非造血源性内皮细胞和基质细胞,最主要的功能是促进组织的增殖和再生以及调节宿主的黏膜屏障防御,然而IL-22也可能引起组织病理性的炎症反应。近年来,许多研究表明IL-22在感染、自身免疫性疾病及肿瘤等疾病中发挥独特的作用。本文中我们重点对IL-22在这些疾病中的功能及具体机制进行综述,并讨论IL-22作为治疗靶点的应用潜力。
Interleukins are recognized as one of the most important regulators of innate immunity and immune-related diseases. Since the discovery of interleukin-22 (IL-22) in 2000, it has been demonstrated that it plays an important role in the endothelial cells of many tissues. IL-22 can be secreted by a variety of immune cells and act primarily on non-hematopoietic endothelial cells and stromal cells. The primary function of IL-22 is to promote tissue proliferation and regeneration as well as to regulate the host’s mucosal barrier defense. However, IL-22 may also cause Histopathological inflammatory response. In recent years, many studies have shown that IL-22 plays a unique role in diseases such as infections, autoimmune diseases and tumors. In this article, we focus on the IL-22 function in these diseases and specific mechanisms were reviewed, and discuss the potential of IL-22 as a therapeutic target.
