据预计2011年全球消费性电子系统芯片产量,将从2005年的11.1亿成长到17.7亿,复合年成长率约为6.9%。这反映出消费性IC市场正进入“更加成熟的阶段”。视频处理等技术与应用,对快速扩展的数字功能的支持,视频合成、人工智能,以及得到改善的功耗与成本效率,将为该领域的成长提供核心动力。消费电子IC将继续向着功能整合的方向发展,在一个单一芯片或平台上整合多个可程序及固定功能核心。整合度的提高,将有助于改善成本、尺寸和功耗性能,同时保留灵活性并使厂商能够透过软件升级来迅速地向市场推出产品。
It is estimated that the global consumer electronics system chip production in 2011 will grow from 1.11 billion in 2005 to 1.77 billion with a CAGR of 6.9%. This reflects the consumer IC market is entering a “more mature stage.” Technologies such as video processing and applications, support for rapidly expanding digital capabilities, video synthesis, artificial intelligence, and improved power consumption and cost efficiency will provide the key drivers for growth in this area. Consumer ICs will continue to move toward functional integration by consolidating multiple programmable and fixed function cores on a single chip or platform. The increased integration will help improve cost, size and power consumption performance while retaining flexibility and enabling vendors to quickly bring products to market through software upgrades.
