笔者提出一种新的缩分公式，将岩石和矿物样品的缩分，取样与允许误差结合在一起，考虑了影响缩分、取样的主要因素及其相关性，容纳了较大信息量，新公式一般可用于任何组分，任何品位的固体样品的加工，缩分及取样，也可为取原始地质样品提供参数，故具有广泛的实用性。
