The Institute for Occupational Safety and Health is currently seeking input on the revised draft bulletin “Asbestos Fiber and Other Slim Mineral Particles: State of Science and Roadmap for Research.” Asbestos has been an issue of public health concern for the past 30 years and a great deal of information on its research can be found in the scientific literature. However, due to some reasons such as the complexity of mineralogy, there is a wide range of inconsistent or inconclusive evidence in the scientific literature that led to the identification of asbestos hazards and the application of monitoring asbestos-related clauses in health and legislation , There is a lot of uncertainty.
