Objective To monitor and evaluate the health of stations, stations and indoor air chemical pollutants in the completion of a subway station in Shenzhen, and to prevent and control the possible harm of pollutants to passengers’ health. Methods According to the subway station hall and platform area, a random sampling method was adopted to test the indoor air chemical pollutants for three consecutive days every morning and afternoon. Results The mean values of three chemical pollutants in three days did not exceed the standard. The qualified rates of TVOC and PM at stations and stations in station PM10 and station were 85.0%, 78.8%, 91.7% and 96.3% respectively. Other pollutants The passing rate of each test point was 100%. The contents of formaldehyde, benzene and xylene in CO, CO2, SO2 and NO2 of the station hall and platform were significantly lower than the average of 18 metro stations in Shenzhen in 2004 P <0.05). Conclusions When the subway station is completed, the station platform is polluted by chemical pollutants to a lesser extent, which may be related to the improvement of ventilation and the use of environmentally friendly materials.
