The pathogenesis of ulcerative colitis (UC) remains unknown. Recent studies have shown that oxygen free radicals, inflammatory mediators and cytokines are closely related to the mechanism of UC intestinal mucosal injury [1]. Traditional Chinese medicine (CCN) has achieved good curative effect in the treatment of UC [2], but lack of experimental research. In this paper, the experimental UC guinea pig model of carrageenan was established and the treatment of experimental UC by JCN was observed.
