Hong Kong has been the largest source of foreigninvestment for many consecutive years. By the end of thefirst quarter of 2011, about 117,400 Hong Kong-ownedcorporate enterprises have registered in mainland's industrialand commercial administration departments, accounting for41.53% of all the foreign invested corporate enterprises with$1.307629 trillion of investment, $78.83 billion of registeredcapital while $62.31 billion was subscribed by Hong Kongbusinessmen.
