1940年9月21日晚,国民党57军111师师长常恩多、111师333旅旅长万毅突然派兵包围军部驻地苍马区(今临沭县)东盘村,捉拿亲日反共的57军军长缪流。次日,常恩多、万毅通电全国,揭露缪流等人的叛国通敌罪行,提出了“锄奸救国”的口号。这就是震惊鲁南苏北的“九二二”锄奸运动,亦称东北军里的第二次“西安事变”。
On the night of September 21, 1940, the Kuomintang 57th Army 111th Division Chang En Duo, 111 Division 333 Brigadier Commander Yiu Yi suddenly sent troops to surround the military headquarters in the Cangma District (now Linshu County) East Village to capture the pro-Japanese anti- 57 military commander Miao flow. On the very next day, Chang En-Du and Wan Yi electrified the whole country to expose the treason and common-enemy crimes of Miao Liu and others and put forward the slogan of “hoping to save the country”. This is the second “Xi’an Incident” which was also shocked to northern Jiangsu in the “1992” escapade campaign, also known as the Northeast Army.
