对于我这个搞美术史的人来讲,这么完整的美国艺术展也是第一次看到,这是一个非常难得的机会,让我们了解美国艺术的发展脉络,了解美国国家的发展历程。我觉得展览方想达到两个目的:一个是让观众了解美国绘画;另外就是让大家了解美国的历史。从安排和编排上面,我们能够感觉到这不光是按照美国艺术的发展来编排的,而且也表现了一个国家的成长、一个民族的成长,它的展览方式非常诱人,我是研究美术史的,我想从专业的角度讲一讲。
For the people who are engaged in art history, it is the first time that such a complete art exhibition in the United States is seen.
