The most prominent feature of her poetry is her good at using the poetic technique of imagery to express abstract inner feelings and esoteric philosophies. This essay elaborates the unique creative features of Dickinson’s imagery poetry, analyzes Dickinson’s novel, peculiar and condensed images in the theme of nature, love, death and eternal life in order to appreciate Dickinson’s poetry from the perspective of imagery.
