随着国民经济的高速发展,高层建筑变的越来越普遍,这些建筑的基础底板和桩基承台等一般均属大体积钢筋混凝土结构,它们的整体性要求较高,如大型设备基础、高层建筑基础底板等。一般要求混凝土整体浇筑,不留施工缝。在混凝土浇筑早期,受水泥水化热的影响,产生较大的温度应力,易产生有害的温度裂缝。有时这种裂缝甚至会贯穿整个截面,造成严重危害,应特别引起重视。
