In the practice of physiology laboratories, Ludwig’s mercury testers are widely used to study the problem of blood circulation. The shortcomings of the instrument are not sensitive enough due mainly to the obstacles in its recorded part. These obstacles include the fact that their buoys are not vertical enough in the tracing direction, and that the friction of the tracing section with the draping line and the drumhead increases the resistance to trace mercury fluctuations. When describing blood pressure, the adverse effects of these disorders are more pronounced with increasing blood pressure, which is when mercury is running over the buoy
