Abstract Objective To compare the length of the right hepatic duct measured by 2D MRC with rotational coronal plane, 2D MRC with revolving coronal plane and 3D MRC with reconstruction. Materials and Methods 67 cases of coronal and cross-sectional 2D projection MRC and 3D MRC. The length of the right hepatic duct was measured and divided into ultrashort (≤1 mm), short (1-14 mm) and long (> 14 mm). The length, overestimation frequency and underestimation of 2D MRC and 3D MRC were compared between the two groups. Results 3D MRC, coronal
