目前,在晋杂五号高粱生产田中存在着植株高矮不一、穗型不同、成熟期不齐等混杂退化现象。康平县胜利公社东风大队调查发现:在亩保苗5,500株的情况下,杂株率占35.2%,平均穗重减少0.47两,折合每亩减产11%(90斤)。杂交高粱混杂退化的主要原因是制种质量不高。为了提高制种质量,这个大队狠抓了下面几个技术环节:1.制种田做到几个优先,即落实地块优先,用肥优先,播种抗旱优先,铲趟收割优先。保证制种田隔离合乎标准。东风一队和三队的制种田做到了以下几点:
