女性主义翻译理论存在两种范式。其中否定单一权威和权力中心、提倡叛逆性翻译与干预、颠覆菲勒斯文化的第一范式,虽然在解构原文,淡化“等值”、“可译性”等抽象问题讨论,反拨单一意义,倡导女性译者及其主体性显形等方面表现卓著,但仍受到女性主义内外多重质疑。本文从理论的西方化与同质性、过度强调翻译目的论、狭隘的翻译文本选择、翻译实践中的思维定势和单一的译者性别五个角度出发,探讨女性主义翻译理论第一范式的局限性。
There are two paradigms in feminist translation theory. The first paradigm, which denies a single authority and center of power and advocates rebel translation and intervention, subverts the culture of Philaus, though debates the abstract issues such as the original text, the “equivalence”, the “translatability” It has also been repeatedly questioned both inside and outside the feminist system by reversing the single significance and advocating the female translators and their subjective manifestation. This essay explores the first paradigm of feminist translation theory from the perspectives of Westernization and homogeneity of theory, overemphasis on translational teleology, narrow selection of translation texts, thinking in translation practice and single translator’s gender perspective limitation.
