随着我国对外交往的增加,中学英语教学中对学生英语听力的培养受到前所未有的重视。但实际情况是,我们花了很多时间而学生的听力水平却没有较大程度的提高。原因有二。第一,听力材料单一。从内容看,除课文外,大多是些听力测试材料。从媒体看,局限于单一的录音磁带教学。尽管录音磁带在中学英语听力教学中有相当重要的作用,但英语是一种自然语言,在交流时不仅有声音,还包括说话者的面部表情、手势等体态语,因而单一的录音磁带媒体难以满足语言学习的需要。第二,训练方法简单。教师大多采用“放录音——对答案”式的教学。由于教学手段单调,难以调动学生的学习积极性,且时间久了,学生容易养成听英语时注意力不集中,消极依赖于最后的对答案的不良习惯,从而不利于学生听力的培养。我们努力探索利用多种现代教学媒体改进中学英语听力教学的路子,具体进行了以下四个方
