按积木方式组成一种机载侧视雷达(SLAR),以便每个用户可以根据自己的任务只采购那些需要的部件。基本系统使用了一部200千瓦的磁控管发射机和一套8英尺长的天线,以实孔径方式工作,检测船只和监视海上的油污染。其它部件随便在什么时候都可以很容易地加进去或者被取代。这些部件包括: (a)运动目标检测处理器, (b)信标工作方式处理器, (c)改进分辨力的合成孔径处理器, (d)16英尺或4英尺长的天线。包括在干式银盐胶片上产生图象在内的所有处理工作都是接近实时完成的。合成孔径处理器利用了:(a)一种改进过的使以磁控管为基础的发射/接收机在“接收过程中相参”(Coherent—On-Receive)的方法;(b)足够多的方位滤波器,以保证海面成象和检测固定的、或运动的目标。
Assemble an on-board SLAR by building blocks so that each user can only buy those parts they need on their own mission. The basic system uses a 200-kilovolt magnetron transmitter and an 8-foot-long antenna to operate in true aperture mode to detect ships and monitor oil pollution at sea. Other components can easily be added or replaced at any time. These components include: (a) a moving-object detection processor, (b) a beacon-work processor, (c) a resolution-improved synthetic aperture processor, and (d) an antenna of 16 feet or 4 feet. All processing, including the production of images on dry silver salt film, is done near real time. Synthetic aperture processors make use of: (a) an improved method of enabling a magnetron-based transmitter / receiver to “coherent-on-receive” during reception; (b) The azimuth filter ensures sea imaging and detects fixed, or moving targets.
