1. The humiliation of the Qing Qing government’s corruption led to the fall of the Eight-Power Allied Forces in Beijing in 1900, burning the Summer Palace (the last time the British and French coalition forces arson in 1860); 1901 the Qing court was forced to conclude a “Xinchu treaty” with the powers, Germany and France Color cartoon postcards issued by the country vividly reflect the tragic history of China being insulted by the powers in this period.
