八仙观村位于湖北省西北部十堰市武当山境内,因道教古建八仙观得名,现有3个村民小组1 32户近500人口。一九八七年后,八仙观村逐步转变落后的山区经济方式,大力发展茶叶特色产业,通过“村场合一,以场带村”的集体经济模式兴建茶场,村民由此走上了脱贫致富的道路,现已发展高标准生态茶园3000余亩,茶场总资产超过3000万元,村民年人均纯收入达1.2万元。二十多年来,八仙观村不仅摘掉了“穷山村”的帽子,而且发展成了远近闻名的特色村和富裕村,先后被农业部授予“中国道茶文化之乡”、
