我院張昭坤同志在制备碘酞鈉供給临床使用后,药材总庫交給我院酚酞10余公斤,要求全都制成碘酞钠以供应用。但經过数次試制,發現用实驗室方法不能在短时間內完成較大量的生产,其中主要困难是碘酚酞沉淀有黏着性,在洗滌时用布氏漏斗吸濾的效率低,难以达到洗淨的目的。且在第一次游离出碘酚酞后的滤液中,含有大量碘化鉀和少量碘及碘化鈉。这些药物均是制备本品时的必需原料,如果窠去,十分可惜。用鹽酸处理碘酚酞前后三次,感到有減少鹽酸和氢氧化鈉耗費量的必要。鑒于碘酞鈉临床上常用为胆囊造影剂,而国内又还不能大量供应,因此作者試图利用普通設备,以进行較大量地生产,今將实驗結果簡介于后。
