武汉第六棉纺织厂,是湖北省第一批扩大企业自主权试点企业之一。自1979年7月份以来,运用扩大的权力,将全厂工作纳入到以生产为中心,以质量、品种为重点,以提高经济效果为目标的轨道;切实加强了企业管理,促进了生产发展,提高了经济效果,取得了管理大改善,质量大提高,盈利大增加的好成绩;实现了国家多收,企业多留,职工多得的目的。企业八大计划和九项经济技术指标在1979年实现了超计划、超同期、超历史的基础上,1980年又有新的提高。全厂棉纱提前53.83天,棉线提前65天,棉布提前82.64天,产值提前82.65天,劳动生产率提前66.82天,利润提前81.11天完成全年计划。
