在检测水中的大肠菌群数时,由于所应用的培养基不一致得出的菌数亦可有所不同,从而使各地检测的结果难以评价比较。作者为此对三种常用的滤膜法用的培养基进行对比试验。用滤膜法测定水中总大肠菌群数时,美国、加拿大及西德常采用滤膜用远藤培养基(m-Endo LES),英国用梯普尔(Teepol)培养基而南非、加拿大则用麦康凯(MacConkey)培养基。本文用这三种培养基以标准滤膜法对水中总大肠菌测定的结果进行比较。
In detecting the number of coliforms in water, the number of colonies obtained due to inconsistencies in the medium used may also vary, making it difficult to evaluate the results of the tests in different places. To this end, the authors conducted comparative tests on three commonly used media filters. When the total coliforms count in water was measured by the membrane filtration method, the membrane-endothelium-derived endoglucanase (m-Endo LES) was used in the United States, Canada and West Germany, while Teepol medium was used in the United Kingdom while South Africa was used MacConkey medium. In this paper, the three media with standard filter method for the determination of total coliform bacteria in water were compared.
