汉代金文说起金文,人们一般都知道那是指先秦书法中铸刻在青铜器上的铭文。其实这些铭刻文字,并没有因为石刻文字和简牍的出现而在历史上消失。汉代金属器上的文字,既继承了秦代诏版铭刻文字的风格,又产生了自己时代的强烈特征,在中国书法史上有其不可忽视的地位。汉代金文保存到今天的资料十分丰富,并且出现了受到隶书影响的汉篆。汉代金文的艺术价值至清末渐渐被书法家、篆刻家重视,如赵之谦、黄牧甫等在他们的作品中成功地
